About the challenge

TEAM FORMATION

1. Team should be formed only from the same college students, may be with different branch students.
2. Each team should be comprised of four members including a team leader.
3. Female member in the team is optional.

TEAM REGISTRATION AND IDEA SUBMISSION

1. Only the team leader has to register their teams and submit the Abstract.
2. Each Participant should participate in a single team. Otherwise, having the participant, participating more than one team will be disqualified.
3. Entire communication will be with the team leader only.
4. The change in team members and team leader will not be entertained.
5. The deadline for submitting Abstract is on or before 12 noon on 6th October 2022.

IDEA SELECTION CRITERIA

1.      Ideas will be evaluated by the specialized Industry Experts.

2.      Evaluation Criteria includes:

·         Novelty of the idea

·         Complexity

·         Feasibility, sustainability, scale of impact, user experience, potential for future work progression and commercialization.

ANNOUNCEMENT OF RESULTS

1.      The results will be published only through https://i2h2022.sececampustour.com/ on

8th October 2022 for Phase 1 and 14th October 2022 for Phase 2.

2.      Participants should be available for meetings and presentations compulsorily.

3.      The top 6 teams per theme will be shortlisted to compete in the Grand Finale, which to be conducted on 4th & 5th of November 2022 at Sri Eshwar College of Engineering, Coimbatore, Tamilnadu.

PROCESS FLOW

Steps for Submitting abstract - Phase 1

1.      Visit the website: https://sece.ac.in/

2.      In Announcement Tab or Home page: 

a.       Click: Intelligent Innovators Hackathon (I2H) - 2022

b.      It redirects to https://i2h2022.sececampustour.com/

3.      Kindly go through the themes

4.      Click the Registration tab:

a.       Fill in the details of all the members, including the Faculty Mentor.

b.      After Registration, Choose Any One of The Themes Listed below:

                                                              i.      Smart Agriculture

                                                            ii.      Healthcare/ Bio-Tech.

                                                          iii.      Social Cause/ Environment

                                                          iv.      Open Innovation

c.       Choose either the Problem Statement or Open Challenge

d.      After Selecting problem statements, Submit the Title of the Project and a detailed Abstract of the team’s innovation.

Phase - 1 Results: Based on Abstract submitted on or before 06.10.2022

1.      The submitted abstracts will be evaluated by the industry experts based on the evaluation parameters.  

2.      The Shortlisted Teams for Phase 2 will be announced through the website: https://i2h2022.sececampustour.com/ and a notification mail will be sent to the team leaders.

Phase - 2 Results: Based on Online Presentation on 08.10.2022

1.      All the teams have to present their proposed idea as a presentation to the jury/industry experts through online (Google meet).

2.      The Shortlisted Teams for Grand finale will be announced through the website: https://i2h2022.sececampustour.com/ and a notification mail will be sent to the team leaders mail id.

Phase - 3 Results: Grand Finale on 04.11.2022 & 05.11.2022

1.      The team members participating in the Grand Finale of Intelligent Innovators Hackathon (I2H) 2022 have to report at the College (Sri Eshwar College of Engineering, Coimbatore) before the day of Finale i.e., 03-11-2022, 6 PM. 

2.      Hardware support (like sensors, controllers, other components) will not be provided.

3.      Only Workspace, Internet Facility and Refreshment will be provided.

4.      Local transport will be provided from nearest bus stop.

Note: 

1. No Registration fee. 
2. Food and accommodation will be provided on payment basis (minimal charges).
